Hey! I'm Duong, but folks call me Čan (sounds like "Chan"). Based in Brno, Czech Republic, I work as a LLM researcher at Seznam.cz where I focus on improving Czech language capabilities of LLMs.

  • The OG (founded in 1996) Czech web portal running most of the web services you can imagine (search engine, e-mail, maps, news, ...).
  • Started as a ML researcher in the search engine's division helping develop (prototype) and improve products related to the search engine.
  • Currently focused on developing an in-house LLM with strong Czech language capabilities to serve diverse company needs.
